Hello and thank you for visiting our website for short stay holiday rental homes in South West Scotland. An area of Scotland which offers stunning coastlines, heritage, nature and was once home to Robert Burns, Scotland’s famous poet.
We currently have two homes for families to enjoy in the Dumfries area, namely ‘The Chesters’ and ‘The Old Stables’. Whether it’s a place to relax or explore the local area both offer a comfortable stay and with them being in close proximity to Dumfries town centre they have a wide choice of restaurants, cafes and traditional pubs to choose from as well.
The Chesters was once our family home and has provided us with many memorable times with its large spacious rooms and spectacular views. The home is located at the end of a country lane and can accommodate up to 12 people with 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large lounge, dining and games room. One of our favourite past times used to be going for walks in the country lanes at the doorstep of the home, and taking in the scenic views as well as the farm animals that reside in the surrounding fields.
The Old Stables is a newly refurbished home that once formed part of the stables to the local coach house. The home can accommodate up to 6 people with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and modern living spacious and is literally a 1 minute walk from the town centre, where a walk alongside the River Nith is a must for all visitors.
